Casters are widely used in various fields. In order to ensure that casters such as Plastic Caster Side Brake can have high quality and ensure safe operation of customers, every qualified caster must be tested before delivery. Please follow us to learn about manufacturers (such as Chinese plastic caster manufacturers). How to test the performance of casters?
(1) Impact test
Casters are vertically inverted and installed on the ground test platform. A weight of 5kg (2%) has a distance of 200mm, allowing a drop of 3mm to fall freely on one side of the impact caster. If it is two wheels, it should hit the two wheels at the same time. During the whole experiment, no part of the caster is allowed to separate. When the caster rolls after the experiment is completed, the pivoting or braking function should not be damaged.
(2) Resistance performance test
In the process of testing this performance, casters should be kept dry and clean. Place the caster on a metal plate insulated from the ground, keep the edge of the wheel in contact with the metal plate, and load the caster at 5% to 10% of the nominal load. The resistance value between casters and metal plates is measured by an insulation resistance value tester (the nominal open circuit voltage is 500 volts, the measured resistance value fluctuates within 10%, and the product loss does not exceed 3 W). For conductive casters, the resistance value is not more than 104 ohms, and the resistance of antistatic casters should be between 105 ohms and 107 ohms.
(3)Static load test
The stable operation of casters on the ground is purely a theoretical state. The static load test procedure of the continuous casting machine is to fix the continuous casting machine on a horizontal and smooth steel test platform, apply a force of 800 Newton along the center of gravity of the continuous casting machine and keep it for 24 hours. After dismantling for 24 hours, check the condition of the continuous casting machine and measure the continuous casting machine after the test. The deformation amount shall not exceed 3% of the wheel diameter and caster rolling amount. After the experiment is completed, the rotation around the axle or braking function is not damaged.
